The Frankfurt subway network

Working from a basic layout, unit-design expanded the family of subway network line diagrams for VGF and worked out the details. In addition to making it possible for people to take in the information quickly and clearly, an important aspect of the process was adapting the sign elements to the various situations and mounting surfaces.
